Fan race team is ready to recap all of Speedweeks, from the close finishes to the celebrations after.  Patti Rodisch, Dustin Parks and Rob Blount are all over the final lap pass by Kyle Busch to win the truck race, Regan Smith making it to the line first to win Nationwide, and of course the NASCAR Nation rejoicing when it was Dale Earnhardt Jr. waiting through a six-plus hour rain delay, a GWC finish, and debris on the grille to win his second Daytona 500. After going through all that happened at Daytona, these three will then look ahead to the next race on the docket at Phoenix.  How will NASCAR follow up such an exciting opening weekend? • Lugnuts and Horsepower

    04/01/2014 Duración: 01h19min

The new year has brought frigid temperatures across the country.  Not exactly great weather for racing, but the Lugnuts and Horsepower crew are hoping to warm up the night by talking about the thing they get excited about the most. Patti Rodisch takes control tonight after having a few weeks off for the holidays, and her teammate Dustin Parks will ride shotgun.  They will look at the updated condition of F1 phenom Michael Shumacher, who was injured in a skiing accident and remains in critical condition after surgery.  Fans and his former team are holding out hope that he will be recovered. Along with the usual news and notes, it's going to be a look ahead to January testing in Daytona, and what it really will accomplish for drivers and teams, or whether it is just NASCAR testing out new ideas for the plate tracks. The 5 p.m. ET/4 p.m. CT start hasn't changed, so the new year looks to kick off with a bang as this crew is strapped in for yet another exciting year of episodes.
