Sinopsis
Please Blow My Mind is a weekly podcast that shines a light on a world that encourages us to remove ourselves from the Human experience. Whether its looking at our phones for too long, forgetting how to talk to someone face-to-face or just straight up giving in and convincing ourselves that a chicken nugget is an actual food. It seems that the nuance of life is slowly being eroded in favour of bad artificial flavours for our mind that will no doubt lead to a dead-beat end. Here is my big idea, my antidote to this silliness we need our minds blown!

Greg Buckley — Having FAITH in today's WORLD
01/12/2019 Duración: 48minOne of the very interesting things about creating a weekly podcast and facilitating long-form conversations is that you start to notice through-lines in Humanity. I've talked to plenty of people who will tell you that there is no God and I've also spoken to an equal amount that will tell you that there is. It seems to me that we are all talking about something, call it faith or spirituality, or belief or nothing - we are all talking about something. I call it the unknown and I have started to leave a little bit open in my thinking to this unknown. It's weird to say that I leave a little bit to the unknown as most things are actually unknow. You don't know most people in the world, you don't know most things about most stuff but we do know enough to know that we don't know. My good pal, Greg Buckley and I love talking about the mystical and all the intricacies in life and this week I invite him on the podcast to talk about what it's like to have faith in today's world. I invite you to join us in a deep conv

Gareth Edwards — COMING DOWN from the PEAK
07/11/2019 Duración: 01h22minGuinness World Record holder, Gareth Edwards climbed to the peak of the abyss both mentally and physically when he flipped a tyre with his mate, Tom Moore for 24-hours non-stop. What most people focus on when someone does something mind-blowing like this is how it must feel to reach the pinnacle of excellence and the lessons and learning from pushing yourself to the edge. What everybody forgets to think about is what it’s like coming down off that peak and what awaits you when you get home. In this episode of Please Blow My Mind with Will Fleming, Gareth talks about the hole that was left open after the Guinness World Record attempt as well as some of the feelings he has had to work through to redefine meaning post-peak. This podcast will help you navigate your own feelings of what it means to aim for something really big and what happens when you actually make it and what to do after life returns to normal. GOING DEEPER — Please Forgive Me
01/11/2019 Duración: 15minWhat does it mean to forgive? It really did suprise me when I read the definition, "to cease to feel resentment against". This about that for a second. I really is mind-blowing because the meaning has nothing to do with a person or thing that you are forgiving, it's about you and your ability to let go. So where does all of this fit when it comes to cancel culture, calling people out and time-stamping the online versions of us and locking them in a digital time capsule forever with no path to digital forgiveness. We are going deep in this episode, so please join me in the van for a quick drive and yarn because It's time to GO DEEP! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/pleaseblowmymind/message

Dr. Paul Wood — SMALL STEPS make HUGE CHANGES
23/10/2019 Duración: 44minDr. Paul Wood is someone who works on getting the little stuff right in life. On the day we recorded the podcast, Paul was trying to solve a huge problem - how to find and replace his family's broken fridge before all the food spoils? Might seem like a small thing but as we talk about in this podcast, it’s the small things in life that all add up to make the big things work. The lesson is, Paul Wood is just like you and me when it comes to day to day life BUT unlike most of us, Paul has stared directly into the darkness of life and on his return now offers his time sharing those lessons and learnings so we can take on those learnings to ultimately live more meaningful, hopeful lives. Dr. Paul Wood opens up and goes deep on the podcast by sharing his experience on living a life of adventure and taking the path of the unknown and trusting that you’ll find your way home even if you get lost along the way. GOING DEEPER — FIGHTING the DRAGON SLAYER
16/10/2019 Duración: 18minAre we all being forced to become Dragonslayers? In this edition of GOING DEEPER, I zoom in on a podcast conversation that I had with Jimi Hunt about the learnings he gained around his need to fight for something. Jimi explained to me, after returning from a five-hour psychedelic mushroom adventure that included a fight a giant Anaconda, that the revelation from this experience was to... STOP FIGHTING. Is anyone in our modern world encouraging to stop fighting or is society today selecting for more of us to be dragon slayers? And has anyone asked what happens when there are no more dragons to fight and what a world with no dragons even looks like? A scary thought is what all the Dragonslayers do in their pursuit of smaller and smaller dragons until finally, they are just swinging a razor-sharp sword through thin air?
