Changing the Magnetic Polarity of Your Heart Human beings have a natural attraction to sin—much like magnets of opposite polarity. In order to overcome, we we must change our spiritual magnetic polarity! Have you ever played with magnets? Put the opposite poles of two magnets together and they attract. Put the like poles of two magnets together and they repulse. Put them close enough together with freedom to act independent of all other influences and they spin around and lock together. The same principle applies in our relationship with God. TWO LIKE POLES REPULSE ONE ANOTHER. SO DO TWO "HIGHER" INTELLIGENCES. If we approach God with the side of us that sees mankind as the most intelligent, creative force in our universe, we are immediately repulsed by God, because we are in essence seeing ourselves as God and cannot allow Him to get close without affecting our self image.
