In John Chapter 5, Jesus' encounter with the lame man at the Pool of Bethesda reveals both a desperate situation and a profound divine confrontation. Despite the man's years of suffering, Jesus challenges him with a simple yet powerful question: "Do you want to get well?" This interaction highlights a central truth: healing and restoration require not only the power of Jesus but also a willingness to embrace His transformation, moving from excuses to obedience.

The Gospel of John reveals Jesus not just as the giver of life—but as LIFE itself. Through every chapter, we see that following Christ isn’t about rules or religion, but about experiencing ZOE—real, vibrant, joy-filled, hope-filled, light-filled life. At our church, we believe that when people encounter Jesus, they don’t just get religion—they get LIFE to the full.

While we may not know the exact timing of Christ’s return, Jesus has given us signs to watch for and a clear call to live with urgency, faithfulness, and hope. Believers are called to stay alert, spread the gospel, and remain rooted in love as the world moves closer to His return. This message encourages us to live every day like Jesus could come back at any moment—because one day, He will.

Pain, suffering, and loss are unavoidable parts of life, but Scripture gives us both an explanation for their origin and a path to find purpose through them. Pastor Jason reminds us, while God did not create pain, He allows it within the framework of free will—and uses it to draw us closer to Him, shape our character, and reveal our purpose. Even in our deepest pain, God is near, and through Christ, we find hope, healing, and eternal restoration.
