The project of German musician Marius Lauber, Roosevelt makes music ripe for escapism. KEXP’s Troy Nelson takes us through a detailed account of Lauber’s evolution from drumming in the teen indie-dance band Beat!Beat!Beat! to honing his own electronic-infused sound for Roosevelt.  Their latest record, Polydans, was released in 2021 and is available on Greco-Roman records and Bandcamp. The psychedelic drug is used to help with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other ailments, but it does come with controversy.
