The body is identified as that of Khloe Jackson and initial impressions paint Khloe as a stereotypically shallow, selfie-addicted millennial teen. Khloe’s boyfriend, Jake, is nowhere to be found…



Single mother Detective Shayne Christie and Constable Matt Jacobs lead the investigation. Soon enough, Logan’s dark underbelly rears its ugly head as council corruption, and a grubby online trail of child exploitation is exposed.



Through the course of the narrative, the ripple effect of Khloe’s death profoundly shakes the foundations of three Logan families and Detective Christie is compelled to reflect on the pressures faced by modern parents and their children in a dynamic, digital world.
