On this week’s instalment of a Link to the Cast: Jack Layzell joins us to talk about his thoughts on the new EA Tiger Woods Rory Mcllroy PGA Tour release; Mark gives us a brief rundown on the history of Rayman; and Dave shares words on Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, Rare Replay, and Hatoful Boyfriend. We dive into this week’s news, including the latest instalment of ‘Konami Korner’. Finally, the three of us share a number of opinions and emotions on one of the most important video games of all time, as we delve into this edition’s book club: Metal Gear Solid.

On the inaugural edition of LTTC – Dave & Mark review Mario Kart 8, Axiom Verge, and Shovel Knight. They also break down the breakdown of Konami, including the recent cancellation of Silent Hills; Ex-Rare employees coming together to make a spiritual successor to Banjo Kazooie; plus the revival of Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Finally, we take a look back at one of the finest games of all time: A Link to the Past.

We’re back for the difficult second album. Mark shares his thoughts on Kirby & The Rainbow Paintbrush, plus breaks down the demo for Splatoon that came out this week, whilst Dave Ryan expresses his feelings on Sunset Overdrive, while also gushing over Ether One. We talk about Konami being Konami *lol*; Nintendo being in conjunction with Universal theme park to make… well, Nintendo Land, we hope; plus keep our fingers crossed on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5. Finally, we take a look back at one of the many, many bright moments for Rare on the N64, as we share our memories and thoughts on the rather brilliant Banjo-Kazooie.

Dave is still alive! This week, Mark tackles Batman: Arkham City, plus he’s finally bought a PS4 and gives his thoughts on Mortal Kombat X. Dave laments his frustrations with Ether One’s current bug issues, though lets out those frustrations with Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. Elsewhere, we give thoughts on the Lego: Jurassic World, Capcom’s current business plan, Grand Theft Auto 5 selling a lot of copies, DOOM 4. Finally, we take a journey back down to Rapture as we explore Ken Levine’s steampunk/horror masterpiece: Bioshock.

On this week’s show… Dave shares his final thoughts on Ether One & Wolfenstein: Old Blood, gives his opinions on Telltale and their catalogue of games so far, and starts to delve into the mad, mad world of Borderlands 2. Mark praises Guacamelee! And throws himself under the bus with his thoughts on Shadow Of Mordor. Elsewhere, we start to look at how E3 is shaping up, wonder what on Earth a Rock Band RPG game is going to look like and DAWWWW WOOLY YOSHI AMIIBOS! Finally, we look at 2007’s quite excellent first-person puzzle piece of perfection, Portal.

And we’re back! Mark throws down the gauntlet on Splatoon and Peggle 2, while Dave gives his thoughts on new Dragon Ball Z – in 2015, The Witcher 3, and GTA Online. In the news we look at a new X-Com game, the latest Nintendo mini-conference, Capcom does a Capcom (again), you can use your old Rock Band equipment, and women in football. DEATH OF FOOTBALL. Lastly, Mark takes us onto the streets of 1992 to talk about Sega’s answer to Final Fight, the superb Streets of Rage 2.
