Plus the VGA’s made a splash with an industry icon award for Kojima, but wasn’t without it’s shading dealings in relation to fan made games. But the real meat and potatoes comes with the release of Final Fantasy XV and the question burning in everyone’s minds: was it worth the wait?

Plus, news stories including Blizzard starting its own e-sports league for Overwatch, the chilling HBO documentary about Slenderman and Snapchat vending machine glasses confuse the crew .

This week on LBR the dick ninja’s double team Deep Dungeon! Plus the newest relic step leaves a lot to be desired. And once again the discussion circles back to the biggest problem in FFXIV currently -- incentive. Can SE do it right?

While at Alamo City Comic Con 2016 Nate was able to grab a few moments of time from acclaimed Dragon Ball Z star Sean Schemmel, better known as Goku. The two talked a bit more about the current SAG-AFTRA strike affecting video game voice overs. Nate also flays Kali and Chris for their lack luster show programming. Other headlines include: Tim Miller jumping ship from Deadpool 2 to Sonic? Nintendo bringing back the PowerLine and Nate shitting all over his idol Howard Stern.

Patch 3.45 looms large as the LBR crew looks forward to the update for Palace of the Dead. Aniero may be out of town, but that doesn't stop Eskalia, Nika, and Juxta from bringing you all the latest in the world of Eorzea. Also on the show today, Simply Juxta makes its long awaited (we guess?) return to the airwaves as the hosts discuss why the Halloween event is good and what SE could learn from its success. We have a shorter show than normal today because we're in the process of getting ready for our trip to Las Vegas later this week, so today's show focuses on the most recent gaming headlines including the No Man's Sky subreddit that shut down due to its toxicity, Gears of War will be seeing a movie soon and the latest in E-sports news. Plus, the crew has a quick discussion about shiny Pokemon and whether keeping suspected hacked shiny's is ethical. A reminder Final Encounter Cast will be taking a break next week because we'll be in Las Vegas.

The reception surrounding the release of Patch 3.4 seems to be a resounding YES! Despite some odd outcomes in the realm of Raid Difficulty. Even Aniero has some positive things to say about the MSQ. The hosts each share thier own views of the patch and while everyone has some lamentations overall most of them are pretty -- oh, just go listen to the show! Plus Squadrons! Nika Cries and Juxta is...he’s just bad.

Headlines of today's episode includes a study that says young men would rather stay home then get real jobs, the Girl Scouts make Nika jealous and is No Man’s Sky deserving of a federal investigation?!
