Worst Friends Forever

This week we're exploring the nominees for the Academy Award for Best Picture. We each watched a different nominee — The Trial of the Chicago 7, Nomadland, and Minari — and are reporting back to the others. Plus discussing our feelings on the awards, and Best Picture in general.

This week we're discussing the things we liked as kids that we thought we'd outgrow. It's everything from fanfic to Bagel Bites to each other. 

This week we're discussing the new Netflix movie MOXIE, directed and starring Amy Poehler. Teenagers start a zine, they sticker a car, and every character is more interesting than the main one.

This week we're discussing the movie Promising Young Woman starring  Carey Mulligan, Bo Burnham, Alison Brie, Clancy Brown, Jennifer Coolidge, Laverne Cox, and Connie Britton I don't have a joke to make here so I'll just say please please please watch this movie before listening to us talk about it.

This week we're discussing a classic movie musical, now on Netflix: Fiddler on the Roof. Also that one episode of Gilmore Girls.

For our 300th episode (!!) we're talking about Wonder Woman 1984, which is certainly a movie that was filmed and released.  Whew boy.

To celebrate our 299th episode, we're playing the Newlywed game — with a little twist! Asking about our favorite characters, episodes, and villains from our favorite things! Also, these questions were HARD.

This week we're saying goodbye to the hellfire of 2020 with some highlights! We're sharing some of the things we actually liked about this year and some of the good things that happened to us. The power of positive thinking, and all that.

This week we're each reporting back on a book we read. We read The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V. E. Schwab, The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin, and Can't Even: How Millennials Became the Burnout Generation by Anne Helen Petersen.

This week we're discussing the new gay Christmas classic from Hulu, Happiest Season. Also, we lust after Kristen Stewart in suits.
