On this last super-sized episode of 2020, we attempt to conjure the holiday spirit with the aid of some pop culture realness! Vincent travels further into the BTS universe while Dana travels further to where the money reside! There are RIP moments for a reality TV canine fav, Time's "Person of the Year", a Bee Gees documentary, Dionne Warwick's Twitter takeover and so much more!

Fresh off of a pandemic Thanksgiving, there is much to be thankful for, including Gaia saving Vincent from another fire evacuation, Hulu and Dana's Boston Comedy Festival stint. The dynamic duo also do a slight dive into the Grammy nominations, discuss Vincent's habit of searching for sad scenes in TV and films and a call to boycott Chapelle's Show from Dave Chapelle.

Vincent's magical journey into becoming a BTS stan continues and Dana gets chosen to participate in the Boston Comedy Festival. Plus RIP moments for Alex Trebek, an official Wonder Woman 1984 release date (and surprise platform), a review of the new season of "The Crown" and a "We See You Gurl" moment for the first female to ever lead a Major League Baseball team.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

While Vincent and Dana wait with bated breath for a winner of the 2020 Presidential Election, they get into all the goodness of the past couple of weeks in pandemic pop culture. From Steve Kornacki's khaki pants (and lack of showering bleh), to RIP moments for Sean Connery and a Sex and the City revival we never knew we always needed, all is covered!

On this celebratory episode, Dana and Vincent celebrate Vincent's transition to the big 4-0!! Vincent is gifted a new electronic skin care mask, Dana finds joy in watching people cook BBQ on Netflix and they both lament over the nuanced language of frustrated work from home emails. There's also deep dive into the latest in pandemic pop culture realness including the end of Quibi, an unfortunate Zoom moment for CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin, thoughts on the new season of Real Housewives of Orange County and this week's "Yeah or Meh" moment with trailers for Ryan Murphy's "Prom" and "Hillbilly Elegy".

Things get political on this episode as the 2020 U.S. election cycle reaches a fever pitch (VOTE EVERYONE!). A socially distant mini vacay to Palm Springs, the story of a real life private dancer and more Korean dramas help to provide some respite from the craziness (at least for Dana and Vincent).  There's also RIP moments for Eddie Van Halen, a cranberry juice drinking skateboarder, a second chance viewing of "Ratched" and "Yeah or Meh" featuring a West Wing special and a reboot of "The Witches".

In a dumpster fire of a week, Dana and Vincent continue find glimmers of light in unexpected places. Vincent discovers new found fandom in BTS via a kindred spirit and Dana discovers a new found fandom in erotic thrillers via Janelle James' new podcast. There's also a Schitt-filled Emmy's recap, inevitable divorce for Cardi B and legal troubles between Vincent's friend Ed Sheeran and the family of Marvin Gaye (who clearly have the best ears in the world).

The world is on fire (at least in California), but a little ash falling from the sky won't stop pop culture from poppin! This episode finds Vincent and Dana getting their life from Lee Min Ho's Dominos Pizza commercial and Mariah Carey+Sade's vinyl box sets respectively. They also discuss RIP moments for Chadwick Boseman and Diana Rigg, Tyler Perry's new billionaire status, a Fresh Prince of Bel Air reunion with all Aunt Vivs in attendance and reviews of Cobra Kai and Cuties. 

Somehow in the midst of a global pandemic, Vincent has become a delicacy for the Irvine mosquito population. While Dana and Vincent await his possible West Nile Flue diagnosis, they pass the time discussing the new album from Gloria Estefan, RIP moments for drag queen Chi Chi DeVayne, the cancellation of some TV favorites and the cancellation of Lori Laughlin's freedom. 

Gather all the hoes in the house (garden tools and people) because Dana and Vincent are back with another pandemic pop culture filled episode! The dynamic duo discuss the new Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's ode to female lubrication, AMC's decision to re-open movie theaters, Dana finally watching "Watchmen", Vincent finally watching "The Mandalorian", reviews of "Tijuana Jackson" and Sam Jay's "3 In The Morning" and so much more!

Summertime certainly has a different vibe to it when you're in the middle of a global pandemic, or at least that's what Vincent and Dana have discovered on this episode. Along with discussing the finer points of getting the most out of CVS discounts, they talk Emmy 2020 nominations, a Lady in the Lake origin story, the goodness of Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips, reviews of Black is King and a "Yeah or Meh" segment featuring an upcoming Amy Adams film called "Night Bitch" (yah, that's the title).

It's a celebration of life on this episode that finds Dana sharing tips on how to gracefully turn 40 in a pandemic and Vincent sharing his hair styling techniques and thoughts of potentially growing a man bun (since the shutdown appears to not be ending anytime soon).  This episode also includes summertime sadness RIP moments for Naya Rivera, illuminating entanglements at the red table with Jada and Will Smith, a review of the HBO Max docuseries "Expecting Amy" and a "Yeah or Meh" segment featuring a Black "Wonder Years" reboot.  

There's no red table, but the Willow Smith "woooooows" are plentiful on this episode as Dana and Vincent get into the new album from Jessie Ware, RIP moments for Joel Schumacher, Benny Mardones and Vanilla Ice's 4th of July concert in Texas and a "Yeah or Meh" segment featuring The Chicks (fka The Dixie Chicks), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and a new show for NeNe Leakes.  

After a global pandemic induced hiatus, Vincent and Dana have returned and whew chill-ay, all holy hell has broken loose!!! On this return episode, the two discuss life in quarantine, the protests for racial justice and equality and how both have effected the pop culture world for good and bad (we're looking at you "The Bachelor".

After a mini hiatus, Dana and Vincent return to a world where love and the Coronavirus are in the air! Vincent gives the rundown on his epic "Fantasy Island" vacation complete with an ENGAGEMENT!!!, and Dana gives the rundown on drinking wine in Paso Robles and binging the new reality show errrrynoty is talking about, "Love Is Blind". There are  also reviews of the films "Invisible Man" and "Onward" along with a "Yah or Meh" segment featuring new music from the Dixie Chicks  and the new "Candyman" (sh! only saying it once!) trailer.

Week two of Black History Month brings us an episode filled with teachable moments for the children, "Chrissy Teigen faced" reviews of RuPaul's performance on SNL and White women who don't like being called White (ahem Heidi Klum).

This episode grapples with the untimely passing of Kobe Bryant and others who perished in a helicopter crash, as well as highlights from Grammys 2020, review of "Bad Boys For Life", Vincent's gay teenage vision board memories and Barack Obama's exposed ankles.

Just in time for the start of Black History Month (sarcasm), we present the 3rd annual Somewhere Over The Rainbow Podcast Oscar Reelness bonus episode! Vincent and Dana are joined by special guest Cesar (Vincent's partner), to give their picks for the categories of Best Original Song, Lead Actor, Lead Actress, Best Director and Best Picture. And not to be left out, Mopsy provides her picks via email (she couldn't make it to taping because she's making money moves).

Welcome to the first official episode of the new Roaring 20's! Dana and Vincent kick off the new year with a lot of mucous (courtesy of Vincent's cold) and a lot of thoughts on the numerous crazy pop culture moments that have already taken center stage only two weeks into the new year, from Megxit, to the 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class and special smelling candle from Gwyneth Paltrow. And, if that's not enough, there's a very special guest who joins for the "At The Movies" segment. 

2019 is almost a wrap but before waving "bye Felicia" to it, Dana and Vincent do a rundown of the best (and some things loosely considered "the best") of the year in TV, Film, Music and Pop Culture!
