Another Mediocre Podcast

In these times, nothing is more important than family, so with Lou unavailable this week, Jeff takes over the show with a very special co-host...his daughter Addison. It's light hearted cuteness at its best, as Addison proves that she is a much better co-host than her father. 

The guys are all remote enjoying their first "Socially Distant Happy Hour". They check in on former guest Chelsea White and Her boyfriend, musician Tash Neal. The group shares drinks and laugh, talks about Chelsea's Instagram show "What A Delight With Cheese White" and Tash's adventures with Dame Dash, including his trip to 105.1's morning show in NYC, The Breakfast Club. Producer and owner of the NYC speakeasy Caveat, Kate Downey joins the guys this week. She talks about co-owning one of the most unique venues in Manhattan. She also talks abut being the executive producer of Never The Less She Existed, a Caveat show and podcast that is "The Feminist History Party You've Been Waiting For"!

Lou and Jeff are flying solo this week. The guys get political when they dive into Kamala Harris exiting the presidential race. Comedian Katie Compa is our guest this week to talk about her hilarious comedy album “Hard Pass” (which reached number 1 on iTunes), dirtbag Harvey Weinstein showing his face in NYC, her journey in comedy, and what she plans to do next!

Comedian Darin Patterson sits down with Lou and Jeff to talk about his stand-up career, and especially his podcast The Virgin Chronicles. In true Virgin Chronicles form, Darin shares a story about the first bad show he was ever at (it includes a white guy saying a certain word in Harlem). They also talk some hip hop, SNL Nerds, their favorite comedians, and Lou openly begs to be a guest on Virgin Chronicles!

Jeff & Lou go public with their grievances after a mishap involving Zion Williamson happens in their beloved fantasy basketball league. With Yag as the league’s commissioner, he gets a public dragging for his role in the debacle, while Lou and Jeff go digging for the commissioner’s cover-up. Get a glimpse of the league that originally brought the three guys together, and the type of stupid shenanigans that happen when grown men run fake sports teams. Its all in good fun!

In celebration of us recently releasing our 50th episode, we decided to release our first ever BONUS EPISODE!!! This mini episode is a clip from an unreleased recording from February 2019. The clip will finally reveal the story behind the State Property 2 movie poster that hangs in POD Studios where we record. The guys celebrate their 50th episode with author/comedian Selena Coppock! Selena helps Lou figure out what a "reply guy" is, attempts to help Yag discover what his candle journey would be while plugging her podcast "Two Wick Minimum", and shares some Bob Seagar love with Jeff. All this, and multiple references to Nickleback!!!! (And yes, we did allow her to go back to NYC).

Life got in the way of this being our 50th episode, so enjoy this 49th episode with the return of Lou and Jeff's first guest, comedian/producer Dani Faith Leonard! Drinking Liberally's Kevin Wilson fills in for Yag as we discuss the movie Dani is working on (that she also wrote), her monthly comedy show, "Adult Sex Ed", and, of course, a little politics. 

Summer is over and we are back. The guys catch up and talk about youth sports, Chappelle's new special, a viral tweet, and what's to come this year for the show! Excuse the abrupt emergency phone call in the middle of the show too!

The guys return after a short summer layoff to a very questionable viral list of the 50 Greatest Mc's of all time. So of course, the guys discuss who would be in their top 20.

Lou returns after a month away, only this time Jeff is absent due to the birth of his new baby girl. Dennis Wiltshire fills in and the guys discuss Lamar Ball, OJ, Lenny Dykstra, and Wu-Tang Clan. Plus a special shoutout to Trish Lopez from Teeniors!
