In this week's episode, Kristin invites one of her favorite people onto the show, Brandi Kincaid, for a special three episode series. This first episode centers around the amazing project, Extravagant Hope, that Brandi has been working on (and Kristin has been hearing about) for years now. Important topics in the conversation: Things that you care about can take so much longer than you think they will. You can get pulled in so many different directions. Things might look totally different or completely the same as you expected when you started out. All of these things are totally normal and completely okay. After some introductions, Laura and Kristin talk about how they met, and discuss their history with scrapbooking and memory keeping. Kristin introduces her longtime scrapbook friend and Awesome Ladies All Access Club member Laura Kaplan. Laura is a teacher from the Chicago suburbs with an amazing family that she's been scrapbooking for 20 years. The show touches upon alignment and the feeling of landing on a project that’s aligned to your message and purpose. They girls also discuss the difference between creating vs. creating under pressure, and how ACCESSIBLE Kristin’s Daily Pages are - whether you’re a seasoned scrapbooker or a beginner - with very little supplies needed to complete it.

Shannan discusses how efficiency WINS when it comes to her scrapbooking, and how - even though a majority of what she creates lives on the computer - she shares her work with the world. The girls talk to Shannan about her plans for making stuff in 2021 and how she doesn’t want to have time limits placed on her scrapbooking.

Brandi Kincaid starts off by telling us how “cute” 2019 Brandi was after living through 2020. She shares that she was in the hospital feeling lonely & scared at the same time as the world was going through the loneliest & scariest time as well. Brandi discusses how she is making room for life as it is, how she speaks a language of grief in her life in a way that redefines it for herself, and how “showing up in the middle” is what this year is offering her.

Kelly Purkey has returned for the third (!!!) time to talk to A + K about her digital Election 2020 kit and questions that came up surrounding documenting politics and the election in general. The girls explore this topic and an interesting conversation unfolds.
