Guns & Yellow Ribbons

We've been away for the festive period, but we jammed in a lot of info into episode 6. Beginning with the boring cup match against West Ham, to the chaotic five minutes against Liverpool, all the way to Mike Dean's sh*t decision against West Brom. Off the back of that terrible decision, we also discussed VAR in the Premier League, and if it will be beneficial. Have a listen, and be sure to leave us your thoughts.

Lack of finishing hurt us against Man Utd, and it's proving to be an issue still. Chances were few and far between against West Ham, but it all nearly went to sh*t with a defensive blunder in the 89th minute. WTF were they doing? A home fixture against struggling and up for sale Newcastle was likely to be an easy fixture, but guess not. Chances were there, but only one goal. We also chat about the new additions to the Arsenal backroom, and whether or not they will shape the future of the club. As always, share your thoughts and join the conversation.

Arsenal featured a strong side mid-week against BATE, coming away with a resounding 6-0 victory, and some noteworthy performances and goals. Things didn't go as well against Southampton, with Arsenal dropping points. WTF was Mertesacker doing out there? Is Ramsey going to be out with a hamstring injury? Is it time for Jack Wilshere to get into the starting XI regularly? Should Arsenal cut their losses with Alexis? After a scintillating scoreline against Huddersfield midweek despite some nervy moments, Arsenal put in one of their best offensive performances in quite some time against Manchester United. Unfortunately, thanks to some poor decision making at the back, we got nothing to show for it at the final whistle.
