It's a redux of a lost episode! Lawson and Benel talk about episode 99 to 103! A lot happens in this episode and Benel talks about beating up politicians. Certainly, an episode that will get us to put on a watchlist. Give it a listen before cops throw us in a van.

Fillers, des ka? We're back for another heaping helping of the fillers. Naruto learns the price of power, Juriaya is here, and there's nothing that happens for the rest of the episodes, even though a ton of characters are introduced and a bunch of pipe is laid!

It's going down, and Benel and Lawson are yelling "timber" because Shikamaru, along with Chogi, Ino and Kakashi, are taking on Hidan & Kakazu. What can see say about this titanic class other than the fact that it is a much watch episode, and the boys break it down on this week's ep.

We follow up on the heartwrenching death of Asuma with these heavy Shikamaru-centric episodes. Lawson cuts a great promo describing Shikamaru's arch in these stories and we review one of the best sequences in the anime so far.

The Asuma dies episodes are here and the weeping begins in earnest! The boys go through it as Hidan and Kakazu are teased and explored, a ninja team loses their dad figure and the boys talk some thrones! Who knows what will happen next?

We're starting one of the most requested arcs in the series of Shippuden, the Hidan & Kakazu arc. We meet our new antagonist (Shut up, Hidan!) and prepare ourselves for the gut-punch coming up. This is a brilliant set of episodes and the best arc of the series so far.

We've reached the conclusion of the Sora arc. We get to see Naruto develop a kinship with Sora, Lawson has a question about Furido's great plan, and we tell you not to go to work! Don't go to work, stay home and listen to the podcast!

We're continue in our Sora arc with the (Other) Invasion of Konoha. Fudido and his band of merry Fire Shinobi lay siege to the village hidden in the Leaf with zombies!

It's time for fillers! Benel and Lawson postulate about the new world post-corona (viz a ve sneezing fetish), we catch up with Asuma, the team gets their new mission, and we meet Sora of the fire temple!

Somehow Naruto Shippuden manages to make training episodes some of the most interesting in the series! Come sit under the learning tree of Kakashi as Naruto and the audience finally learn how chakra works and the various elements of chakra nature combination. Also, Yamato is also there!

Sasuke gets the ol' rocket strap on these episodes where literally everyone jobs out to him one after another, including the nine-tailed fox spirit, Sai and the concept of free will! We're out of the main plot with these episodes and readying ourselves for our first set of fillers!
