The months leading up to the awards were exhausting and frustrating, from creating new categories to deciding to hand out awards during the commercial breaks, and now Nick and Jared can finally rid themselves of this debacle.

On this weeks episode Nick and Jared discuss the 2013 film Short Term 12, written and directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. This is a film Jared added to Nick's Queue at the end of the Take Shelter episode. This film is a remake of a short film of the same name. It stars Brie Larson, John Gallagher Jr, LaKeith Stanfield, and Kaitlyn Dever. This film is notable for the fact that it lead to Brie Larson being cast in Room, which subsequently resulted in her receiving an Academy Award for Best Actress.

In this weeks episode Nick and Jared discuss the 2017 Yorgos Lanthimos film The Killing of a Sacred Deer. Nick added the film to Jared's queue at the end of the Take Shelter episode. The film stars Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman, Barry Keoghan, Raffey Cassidy and Sunny Suljic. What kind of watch band is better, leather or metal?
