Last week we talked about why social media isn’t a great strategy for your business… but, I know many of you are still relying on good ol’ IG. So this week, we are going to talk about how you can leverage social media to grow your email list. Because social media does have its time and place in the marketing puzzle. It just isn’t the biggest piece.  I was teaching an email marketing class recently and I talked about how your email list is your home base. And everything you do gives access to an avenue that will take your person back to that home base. So, you go to a networking event - goal is to get someone to come into your world (aka your homebase… aka you email list). You go on a podcast or post in a facebook group, or any other visibility strategy to get more eyes on you.. same goal. Get the person into your world… So if you flip how you use social media from your main marketing platform to another avenue that gets people to your homebase, you’ve cracked the code as far as I’m concerned.  So how do you s

It’s spooky season.. And I’ve got a little ghost story to share today… Some of you might remember October of 2021. We were all going about our mornings, enjoying the cup of coffee, doing the routines and then hop on to IG (as we do) to scroll for “inspiration” and it wasn’t loading.  You thought it was just your phone being annoying so you go onto your other platforms and check back a while later. Still nothing. Another hour goes by… still nothing. You start to panic. Maybe even sweat a little because, if you were like me, you had a whole launch planned that day and it was mostly going down through IG.  Next thing you know, everyone in the digital world is talking about how their IG is down too. Panic posts on FB asking “is this just me”?  Hours go by and collectively the digital marketing and online business world starts to freak out because IG has never been down this long.. And if IG is down… HOW are we even operating our businesses?  Ladies… this is a TRUE STORY! You scared yet?  This was the resurrection

When you think about making a move and scaling your business, does it feel challenging or does it feel impossible? Big question here, right?
