What's scarier than the years you spend in high school? Spending those years in a haunted high school. Marnie and her mom discuss the hauntings reported at the old Moore High School building, using source material from Jeff Provine and Tanya McCoy's book Haunted Oklahoma City.

The podcast is officially back! Marnie and Whitney give some personal and professional updates and then dive head-first into stories of one of OKC's most haunted bars, the Sooner Corral. With help from the book Haunted Oklahoma City by Jeff Provine and Tanya McCoy, Marnie and Whitney get into the spooky history of this place. Marnie shares a story about a New Year's Eve that lives on in infamy and the girls get philosophical about the true nature of hauntings.

Whitney is back for the first episode to be recorded in "studio" since the beginning of the pandemic. Marnie tells Whitney about Picher, Oklahoma, which is one of the most toxic towns in the United States. The town was a hub for zinc and lead mining and later became extremely hazardous to the residents of the town. 

Marnie and Whitney are back on the road, heading home on Route 66 in search of the hitchhiker. Whitney asks Marnie questions about whether she'd be willing to become a vampire, more cannibalism stuff, and the girls discuss how often they think about death. Marnie and Whitney make soft re-entry into podcastland with a trip down historic Route 66. The gals ask each other a series of Halloween-themed questions that range from ridiculous to extremely dark. Marnie tells about her run-in with a pair of scissors at the Red Ribbon parade circa 2005 and Whitney tells us why she never takes naps. Johnetta joins Marnie for a fast and loose conversation about Marnie's athletic background, what certain symbols mean in cemeteries, and Victorian flower language.

This week, Eerie Okie's number one fan, David Rhodes joins his wife Johnetta on the podcast. Marnie and the gang talk about Griffin Memorial Hospital, focusing on the history and the treatments used at the height of its operation as well as forward-thinking policies put forth by D. W. Griffin.

Kayla Coffey is back to finish things up on the Oklahoma City Butcher. The girls take some detours and tell spooky stories, share some theories as to who the killer might have been, and talk about the problem of the unreported missing and violence against Native women.

Kayla Coffey of Localites OKC fame joins Marnie for a discussion of one of Oklahoma's most gruesome unsolved mysteries. They share some stories about the odd life of a podcaster then dive into the case. Marnie also embarrasses herself with her reading choices.

Johnetta is back to discuss some of the best things you can see on a roadtrip across Oklahoma. The girls cover shootout sites, a rattlesnake museum, and a two-headed calf to name a few. Marnie also shared the comic (about said two-headed calf) that never fails to make her cry.

Johnetta joins Marnie over the phone after a coronavirus scare and they cheer each other up with some of Oklahoma's weirdest laws and some of its strangest crimes.

Did you know there was a serial killer in Shawnee in the early 1900s? Neither did Marnie. Jeff Provine shows up to give the scoop on a very, very cold case that he accidentally discovered doing research for his newest book.

Jeff Provine is back to discuss the most haunted hotel in Oklahoma City. From the early days of the Skirvin's history to the renovation and the ghost that keeps NBA players up at night, there are all kinds of good bits of history here. And spooky ones, too.

Sumer is back to talk about her favorite film of all time and some real life cases of exorcisms in Oklahoma. She drops some knowledge about the film, THE EXORCIST, and the original case that inspired William Peter Blatty’s novel. They also discuss exorcisms gone wrong in Oklahoma as well as the growing trend of “deliverance” sessions.

Sumer Wensman is back to talk psychics with Marnie. After a few beers, the girls discuss the origins of psychic phenomena and promptly stumble into their shared obsession with Michael Crichton novels. After discussing The 13th Warrior, they move on to the types of psychic abilities and shed some light on whether either of them would go through a significant other's phone. 

Whitney's back to listen to some more listener stories with Marnie. They also discuss Eric Church's new single, the afterlife, the laughter of ghostly children, and a time when Whitney thought she might die while working a haunted trail.

She shares her experiences as a kid growing up in a household that welcomed the idea of the paranormal as well as some terrifying experiences she's had as an adult. Lauren and Marnie also talk about the concept of lucid dreaming and how that's a great way to fight back against sleep paralysis.
