'This is the computer,’ Bunting said, and a second later, his offsider Wagner had David by the throat, and they handcuffed the terrified young man. They led him into an area that had once been a bank manager’s office, and proceeded to make him handover his wallet, PIN, and recite a number of phrases and words into a recording device.David, shaking like a leaf, turned to his stepbrother and said ‘Jamie, am I going to go home?’‘Yes,’ Jamie said. ‘Do you promise?’ David asked again. ‘I promise,' Jamie said. Then Bunting put on Live’s Throwing Copper album, and a maniacal grin spread across Wagner’s face. David wasn’t going home...Join

Tuesday 16th of August, 1994, Lower Light, 50 kilometres north of Adelaide, South Australia. No wind and no rain - the perfect conditions for brothers Jack and Ron Finch to conduct weed spraying on their 4000 acre farm. The brothers worked tirelessly all morning. After lunch, they returned to their arduous work, spotting what appeared to be a fox burrow up ahead. Ron pointed it out and Jack manoeuvred the car around the obstacle, before they happened upon a bone. They both took it for a sheep bone at first, but a closer look confirmed otherwise. It was a human skull. ‘That’s no burrow,’ Ron said, 'that’s someone’s grave back there...'Join Shaun and Chloe as they discuss one of Australia's most brutal and notorious series of serial murders. • The Truro Murders

    14/07/2019 Duración: 01h06min

On 25 April 1978, Bill and Valda Thomas were mushrooming in remote bushland alongside Swamp Road near the South Australian town of Truro, when they stumbled upon what they thought was the bone from the leg of a cow. When they couldn't shake the image from their minds, they returned to the area two days later for another look. Upon closer inspection, they saw that the bone had a shoe attached; inside the shoe was human skin and painted toenails...Join Shaun and Chloe as they discuss this slow-burning case about a series of missing women who would remain unconnected until the discovery of several sets of human remains in remote bushland near Truro in 1979. The disappearances were becoming more frequent, until they suddenly stopped. Police would discover from a tip-off there was good reason for that, and their subsequent interview of a submissive and infatuated wingman would paint a horrifying picture of a dominant young and charismatic psychopath.Support the show on Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/truebluecri
