This was one of my most interesting chats to date covering the writing and recording process of one of the UK’s most interesting rock bands. We talked around their two new songs ‘Thick Wall’ and ‘A Remark is in Order’ and why they were left of their 2020 album ‘This is the History’. And as ever we dive deep into their top gigs played and been to as fans. Adam and Harry realising they have very compatible taste. Ed talked through the making of ‘Push’ with guests such as Kristof from Swans. We discuss some his favourite gigs played including when he and his newlywed wife played a very impromptu gig. Also some superb musical discoveries for Adam when going over favourite gigs as a fan for Ed. We discuss the lyrics on song, 'In the Zoo They Feed Him Nuts' and why  the topic of sexual abuse & rape are the topic of this song and why they thought it important to release. Please note if you may find this difficult to listen to.  This was an interesting insight into what drives Cassels and the social themes they address.

    In Episode 5 Adam spent some time with another Bristol based musician, Ash from Sugar Horse. They met up before Fraud’s all dayer to discuss everything from Ash’s inspirations such as Vennart/Oceansize and what it’s like to work at one of the best known venues in Bristol, The Mother’s Ruin. Adam also manages to get the meaning behind Sugar Horse's EP title spectacularly wrong. So much for doing research! In other news pleased to announce the guests who will be joining Adam on the next episode where we will be reviewing the best festival in the world, ArcTanGent.
