Let's Talk Homeschool

Each year during the Advent season, it's our tradition to replay this dramatization of the Christmas story entitled: Mary Remembers.

In this holiday themed episode, we reminisce about our favorite childhood Christmas memories. Then we point out the difference in what we experienced versus what we decided to do with our own children.

We finally wrap up this 13-part series with a walk through memory lane. We briefly review all 11 shows (not counting the introduction and today's conclusion).

Thanksgiving is followed by Black Friday, which is followed by Cyber Monday, which is finally followed by Giving Tuesday. This is a day to promote giving opportunities. What organizations do you plan to support this year? Giving Tuesday is a great way to pause and think about which charitable organizations you want to support financially.

In 2018/2019, The Family Dinner Project concluded that the average family dinner only lasts 12 minutes. That's not a long time. They also discovered that one-third of families do not talk during their meals together. An encouraging statistic was that 87% of families do have at least one meal together each week.
