Lunch Break

Gather round the (virtual) summertime campfire for a (virtual) lunch time of stories from days of yore (including one that will make you think differently about one the host's state of mind!), a creepypizza story, and some classic campfire songs that everyone knows!

Landon and Joey come up with some perfect parody songs capturing the current cultural moment in America, talk stories from elementary school, and they do finally get around to making fun of that Gal Gadot video with the celebrities singing "Imagine." It's been a long time coming! Knowing how this thing usually works, it would have seemed right to assume they would make fun of it as soon as possible, but no! They gave it time and it just, finally, naturally came up. Good for the guys, huh? 

Joey and Landon enter week 3 of the LUNCH BREAK QUARANTINE by checking in with each other, an old friend, and listing off the best April Fools pranks anyone could ever dream of! They also talk about a whole lot of other stuff to fill your cold and empty days with the warmth of friendship and Bad Trump Impressions. 

Joey and Landon get back to basics and eat snacks, talk to Christopher Nolan about something very important, and so much more - for better or, probably, worse! 

Landon and Joey calm your coronavirus nerves from their respective quarantines with some helpful tips that you probably haven't heard yet, make you feel like everything is normal by talking about stuff they've watched, and uplift your soul with a live set of original music from the home studio, just like John Legend. EXACTLY like John Legend.

Let us be every voice you've ever heard inside your head as Joey Loboda and special guest Joey Hoffman team up to destroy Landon's childlike admiration for the epic conclusion to the Skywalker/Star Wars Saga. Actually, Landon does well to school the 2 Joeyz on the greater mythical implications this finale has for the series as a whole and how exactly this 9th entry admirably attempts the nearly impossible task of wrapping up a 40+ year saga as well as play as an interesting synthesis of the ideas at work in the Disney Sequel Trilogy. It is a lively, divisive discussion where 3 dudes raise their voices about fake stuff that doesn't matter! If this episode description is any indication, there are a lot of complex and complicated feelings about this one!  Yes, the movie came out a long time ago at this point. Yes, everyone has talked about it way too much at this point... But don't you want these three (straight white male) perspectives?

Landon and Joey crack open the big box o' presidential candidates and root around to see which ones Spark Joy and which ones Yuck Their Yum.
