Well, we are just about there ... all local and state league footy has been done and dusted and Nat Fyfe has had to purchase an extra trophy cabinet after becoming the 15th person to win more than one Brownlow Medal.In this episode, the 2 Blokes chat about all of the State League Finals - Including the VFLW - and predict the winners of the Cats VFL & VFLW Best And Fairest winners. We also celebrate a young fellow who kicked the winning goal In the GFL grand final with two seconds to play.

This week has seen grand finalists decided at state league and GFL level and grand finals played in the BFL & GDFL. Rob and Neil pontificate about the upcoming grand finals and talk about the two AFL preliminary finals plus their thoughts on the Brownlow. Neil and Rob clear out their list of stupid things commentators say - including some from the recent Ashes series - and rank the players who represented the baggy green in the UK.

We hit the road for our first ever recording session in front of a LIVE audience ... and, of course, we visit the recently renovated Mount Moriac Hotel for the event.Both sets of Cats met their match in their respective Elimination Final on Saturday. As usual, the Blokes chat about all things local footy - AFL, VFL, VFLW, GFL, BFL and GDFL - and in what is becoming something of common event, they take a look at some of the phrases that commentators use (and usually overuse) in their broadcasts. We look at where the phrase came from - if we can work it out - and wonder why they insist on using them time and time again. We might even introduce a segment we ponder big issues - this week we discuss why it is necessary to write LEFT HAND DRIVE on the back of a left hand drive car.

In their regular Thursday night round-up, Neil and Rob discuss the current state of VFL & VFLW matches including this week's team selections for the Cats. After the break, they return to discuss last week's inter-league results involving the GFL, BFL and GDFL and then preview the upcoming games in each of the local competition.And it wouldn't be 2 Blokes Chatting unless they found a couple of annoying and/or puzzling phrases used by footy commentators and discussed their origin and/or meaning.
