It's a new season, so time for new anime! It's the Fall, specifically, and we watched the first three episodes of four anime. And they have that weird thing where they're all pretty different, but also have a few things in common with one another. But we have a birdman! A guy with way too many soulmates! A woman who may be a bit too genre savvy! And a girl who's absolutely in love with the villainess! Check them all out. Time for episode 108! We watched Parasyte -the maxim-! It wasn't quite what we were expecting, but it managed to entertain. However, we did find some faults with it, including a weirdly shoehorned message. And some in odd music choices. Check it out on Crunchyroll! Episode 107 is here! We watched Serial Experiments Lain. A very of-its-time late 90s anime. Back when the internet was new to people and some were a bit scared of it. Lain really dips into those fears, plus a lot of other things. Although it's never straightforward about it. You can check it out on Funimation.
