Today we have a really fun topic. It's something that we use ourselves and I think it's getting more and more popular — e-bikes and personal mobility devices. 

Normally I have Rex Lesueur on, but today I have Tammy Lesueur, my mom, and we talked about in a previous episode how she is the wizard behind the curtain, like the Wizard of Oz, who helps our business grow using marketing. Tammy Lesueur is Rex Lesueur’s wife and she is definitely the pillar or probably the person that sits in the background of our business and makes amazing things happen, which is what we're talking about today. We're going to be talking about marketing and how my mom, over years of trial and error and really intense study, has taken our agency from a small mom-and-pop insurance agency to a larger small business that's serving a bigger population and really helping Oregonians. We are now also licensed in thirteen other states.

It's something that I think people are thinking about as the snow comes in getting out of Dodge, right as the snow comes in. I think a lot of people will look at Mexico and other warm places, right? Or even in the summer, taking that beautiful trip to Europe that they've always wanted to or maybe Asia. So what are the insurance ramifications of travel? Do you need travel insurance?

Today we're going to talk about employment practices liability insurance. This is an area we've actually talked about before. We're going to take it from a little bit different angle at this time. Talk about why in order to prevent employment practices liability lawsuits, you need to have an employee manual.
