Keith Hirshland updated us on how things are going out on the LIV Tour. As the Producer of their golf tournaments, he shares some of the new, innovative technology they have. When you have all 48 players on the course at the same time, and balls in the air all over the golf course, keeping track of the leaders in the first two rounds can be a challenge. We also talk about LIV's team concept and how that keeps all 48 players engaged even if they're not on top of the leaderboard. Mitch Laurance shares a historical perspective on the top players of all-time discussion.

17/04/2023 Duración: 32minMark Calcavecchia shares a couple of his Masters near misses in 1988 and 2001. We hear about the back 9 battle he had with Sandy Lyle in the final round in 1988. Mark was 5 strokes back after 7 holes but charged to take a 1 stroke lead with birdies on 8, 9, 11, and 13. In 2001, after a birdie on number 1 on Sunday he was tied with Tiger and Phil. Two great stories from one of the great players of that era.

Michael tells of meeting his first PGA Tour Pro, Omar Uresti, and how laughter helped Omar relax during that round of golf. It led to Michael getting inside the ropes, and then inside the PGA Tour. Michael also tells how he got his start in broadcasting and the night Pat Perez got hammered during their show Out of Bounds. Michael has added great photographer to his long list of talents thanks to his personality (listen to the story) and some help from Ken Griffey Jr. He makes our game, and this segment, so much fun because he's in it. I'm incredibly thankful for the time I got to spend with him. When you listen to this segment, you'll understand why he's quickly become one of my favorites.
