I got to spend it with four of my favorite people on the planet, Top Instructor Tom Patri, my all-time favorite Author and TV Producer Keith Hirshland, plus 2 fantastic Actors & Show Hosts Mitch & Matthew Laurance. Tom Patri and I looked back at The Masters plus we discussed our Top 5 players of all time and a couple of guys who are very underrated. Keith Hirshland updated us on how things are going out on the LIV Tour. As the Producer of their golf tournaments, he shares some of the new, innovative technology they have. When you have all 48 players on the course at the same time, and balls in the air all over the golf course, keeping track of the leaders in the first two rounds can be a challenge. We also talk about LIV's team concept and how that keeps all 48 players engaged even if they're not on top of the leaderboard. Mitch Laurance shares a historical perspective on the top players of all-time discussion.

Mark Calcavecchia shares a couple of his Masters near misses in 1988 and 2001. We hear about the back 9 battle he had with Sandy Lyle in the final round in 1988. Mark was 5 strokes back after 7 holes but charged to take a 1 stroke lead with birdies on 8, 9, 11, and 13. In 2001, after a birdie on number 1 on Sunday he was tied with Tiger and Phil. Two great stories from one of the great players of that era.

2011 US Senior Open Champion Olin Browne joined me in this segment. Olin shares his thoughts on this year's Masters Tournament and memories from his 4 Masters appearances. I also get his thoughts on potentially rolling back the golf ball.

I had the privilege of meeting Geoff at the PGA Merchandise Show. He's the Executive Director of the South Florida, PGA Section. In this segment, we hear about the great things his section is doing to grow the game and support local Veterans through PGA Hope. They also raised nearly $450,000 through their partnership with Jack and Barbara Nicklaus and their Play Yellow Birdie bash that benefited their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital.

In this special segment, I'm joined by Steve Burke. Steve has been looping out at Pebble Beach for 25 years. He shares stories about the great players, actors, athletes, and the rich and famous he's caddied for. We talk about the famous par 3 7th hole and the range of clubs the wind has caused him and his players to hit. Steve also talks about his book, "Cutter, America's Unfiltered Caddie" which is filled with caddie one-liners that he's gathered over the years.

We recap this year's Masters Tournament plus look back to Mark Calcavecchia's runner-up finish in 1988 and Olin Browne's first appearance in the Masters in 1998. John Patrick, Host of the Augusta Golf Show, shares his thoughts on this year's tournament plus some of the rumored new expansions at Augusta National. South Florida Executive Direct of the PGA of America, Geoff Lofstead, talks about their relationship with Jack Nicklaus and Jack's Play Yellow Birdie Bash. We also hear about how the Section is working with former Steelers WR Santonio Holmes to help grow the game at his high school alma mater in Belle Glade, Florida.

Tim Simpson and I start off talking about the mental game and the work he's doing with a company called Cerefit/Zing Performance. They have vastly improved his mental approach and cognitive thinking through mind exercises he does every day. We also get his perspective on the rolling-the-ball back issue, plus we hear his memories of playing at Oak Hill site of this year's PGA Championship.

Suzy Whaley also weighs in on the proposed Model Local Rule of rolling the ball and her thoughts if the Tours don't approve it what that does to their relationship with USGA & R&A. Suzy is now the President of a new golf platform called Golf Nation that's about to be rolled out. We hear about the unique content they'll have available on there including being able to purchase gear right from our smart TVs, iPad, & mobile phones plus watch her show, "Don't I Know You".

Frank Nobilo talks about the preparation that goes into The Masters broadcast. We hear his thoughts on how awkward the Champions Dinner could be with the former champions, who are now playing on the LIV Tour, back in the room. We also get his thoughts on who he likes to be on top of the leaderboard come Sunday evening.

Bart Romano is the Director of Golf at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club and True Blue Golf Club. They are two of the top courses not only in Myrtle Beach, but also on the Top 100 list you can play according to Golf Magazine, Golf Digest, and Golfweek. Bart talks about the design of both courses and the esthetic beauty that surrounds them. It's easy to understand why our friend Charlie Rymer says they are two of his favorite courses in Myrtle Beach.

America's Caddie Michael Collins joins me in this bonus ​episode of Next on the Tee. Michaels shares his story of how wanting to make his mom laugh put him on the path to becoming a comedian. We hear about how he got over the fear of going up on stage the first time and the rush of getting that first laugh. Michael ​tells of meeting his first PGA Tour Pro, Omar Uresti, and how laughter helped Omar relax during ​that round​ of golf. It led to Michael getting inside the ropes, ​and then inside the PGA Tour. ​Michael also ​tells how he got his start​ in broadcasting and the night Pat Perez got hammered during their show Out of Bounds. Michael has added great photographer to his long list of talents thanks to his personality (listen to the story) and some help from Ken Griffey Jr. He makes our game, and this segment, so much fun because he's in it.
