    In honor of Endometriosis Awareness Month and Women's History Month, No Pix After Dark collaborated with the Baltimore Flow (Episode 221) to bring together a panel of people living with endometriosis to discuss challenges in navigating healthcare and how to advocate for yourself or someone you love. Endometriosis, a disease that causes tissue similar to the uterine lining to implant throughout the body, causing pain and dysfunction, affects at least one in 10 people assigned female at birth. However, getting a correct diagnosis takes an average of 10 years and getting proper treatment can also be challenging. Staci Wolfson spoke to Lauren Kornegay, founder of Endo Black, Les Henderson, founder of Endoqueer, and Fox45 politics reporter Mikenzie Frost who recently spoke out publicly about her second surgery for endometriosis here in Baltimore.
