Independence Day
04/07/2022 Duración: 56minHi friends! This week, we are finishing up summer blockbuster month with Independence Day which is appropriate as today is July 4th! Thanks for spending your day off with us. In 1996, this was the height of the cheesy summer blockbuster movie craze. Starring Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Randy Quaid, and so many others, this is the story of a group of people from around the country who gather together to defeat an alien invasion. The CGI doesn’t hold up really well, but there’s so many great one liners, fun actors having a blast, and it just brings us back to going to the theater with a buddy, walking on the sticky theater floors, carrying a tub of popcorn and an ice cold soda, and just having a blast. It’s entertaining and sometimes that is exactly what you need. What are your thoughts on the film? We want to hear your thoughts on this guilty pleasure.Did you miss the video premier of this episode?
