George Springer had 3 2-out RBI singles for the Blue Jays, who ended a 3-game losing streak.-----At the Plate: The Red Sox were held to 1 run on 3 hits over the first 7 innings by Jose Berrios. The Sox were 0-for-4 with Runners In Scoring Position and struck out 2 times vs. the Jays starting pitcher. Jarren Duran had a pair of Doubles, both against Berrios in the loss. The Red Sox picked up their 1st series sweep of the season and have won 5 in a row after losing 4 straight. The Red Sox tallied season-high's in both runs (18), and hits (22) with 10 extra-base hits. (1 HR & 9 Doubles).-----A Win for the Rookie: Hunter Dobbins was added to the roster for the doubleheader and notched the win in his Big League debut. The 25-year-old was staked to an early lead and gave up 2 earned runs over 5 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 5. Dobbins was an 8th Round pick out of Texas Tech in 2021.
