The Alliance for Longevity Initiatives is the first and only 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization founded with the goal of creating social and political action around the issues of increasing human health and lifespan. A4LI works with healthcare leaders and experts in the geroscience and regenerative medicine fields to ensure the initiatives we pursue most directly reflects the needs of said communities. Ultimately, we would like to see governments around the world prioritize keeping their citizens in excellent health for much longer.

Robin Fenley, Ph.D., LCSW , is NYC Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Long-Term Care, She is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience in diverse fields of aging, in-cluding skilled nursing facilities, in-patient psychiatry, elder abuse prevention, home care, and adult day care. Currently the Assistant Commissioner for the Bureau of HealthCare Connections within the NYC Department for the Aging (DFTA), Dr. Fenley provides administrative oversight of several programs, including the Office of the Social Adult Day Ombuds; NY Connects, a statewide ‘No Wrong Door’ initiative for long term services and supports; the Alzheimer’s & Caregiver Resource Center; and management of ten contracted National Family Caregiver Sup-port Programs and nine DFTA-contracted Social Adult Day Services.

Abby Klosterbuer, PhD, RDN is the US Medical Affairs Manager for Healthy Aging and Cellular Nutrition at Nestlé Health Science. In her role, she provides clinical and scientific expertise to educate consumers and healthcare professionals on the role of nutrition in improving clinical outcomes and promoting healthy aging. Abby is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and has a PhD in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota. Steven J. Pearlman, PhD., is a critical thinking expert and educator who has worked in higher education for 30 years. Pearlman taught writing and critical thinking at a range of institutions, including one of America’s elite colleges, before bringing his expertise out of the classroom for institution-wide benefit. Mayhew Seavey is a 68-year-old electrical engineering consultant in the metro Boston area. Together with his wife, retired publications editor Victoria Thatcher, he cofounded the Hager Homestead cohousing community in 2016 as a way for them to have the kind of supportive community that they wanted for themselves as they grew older.
