In Extra Time this week the RNZ Sport staff look back at the highs and lows of 2015 and what was most memorable for them. Rugby, cricket, netball, league, golf, rowing, cycling, motor racing and a lot more made 2015 a year to remember for New Zealand Sport. The sports team also express their views on who are the leading contenders for the Halberg Awards.

In Extra Time this week…we talk to Mahe Drysdale about the affect his coach's spat with Rowing New Zealand is having on his Olympic title defence, we hear from the injury ravaged New Zealand sevens squad as they look to regroup and arrest their poor run of results, the golf world number one Lydia Ko confirms she's coming home for the New Zealand Open, we discuss the Black Sticks women's loss in the World Hockey League final with coach Mark Hager and we talk to the Wellington Phoenix veteran Ben Sigmund who's decided to hang up his boots after 8 seasons with the A-League side.

In Extra Time this week…the Black Caps captain Brendon McCullum breaks his silence on the Chris Cairns verdict. The new Silver Ferns coach Janine Southby quickly stamps her mark on the side. Team Newe Zealand head's back out on the water in Auckland as it America's Cup campaign ramps up. The financial pinch is on for the Football Ferns, the Black Sticks and swimming. And the 'Oldies but Goodies' head back out on the cricket pitch with the launch of a Masters Twenty20 champions league featuring five former Black Caps.

Tensions are high across the Tasman after the NRL released it's 2016 draw and how do the Warriors fare? In Extra Time this week we take a closer look at the new pink cricket ball that will be used in the inaugural day-night Test in Adelaide.
