I’m opening the conversation about invisible labor in any given household. We’re in a cultural shift of Dads parenting in a way that overall, hasn’t happened before. Generally speaking, the language around this is “dads are helping now”... which sort of mucks things up. While there’s plenty on the internet about the mental load of moms, we also need to acknowledge the mental load of dads, which is often forgotten about. This is a messy-human conversation and there’s lots of nuance to it.
