We’re talking about how to motivate kids to succeed, why people need to stop planning to do things “someday” and instead do them now, how to develop a hunger to learn, why curiosity is key, and why completion is the most essential part of anything you do! “Develop a hunger to learn” (click to tweet) Points to Keep In Mind Motivate and incentivize your kids to succeed and continually improve themselves Kids shouldn’t be paid for chores, because adults aren’t. They should do that as part of the family Positivity is essential to good parenting Put emphasis on reading the right books in parenting Stop saying you’re going to do something some

  • Why You Should Learn How to Read People to Live the Good Life

    14/03/2017 Duración: 16min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “Work less, and READ MORE!” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) Understanding and getting good at reading people is one of the most essential skills you work on. It gives you instant insight into whether or not you should trust someone, what you can expect from them in terms of their character, their level of responsibility, and their tendency to come through for you on promises. Developing this skill is essential toward taking dramatic steps towards living the good life. Today I am talking about reading people, why it’s important, what the “Dark Triad” is, why there are downsides to wealth and fame, how to know immediately if a new employee is going to suck, why bullying has such an affect on people, and why you should work less and READ MORE! “Knowing how to read people will help you get ahead like nothing else” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) Points to Keep In Mind There are downsides to the things people often desire,

  • The Myth of Passive Income, and Why It Won’t Make You Wealthy

    13/03/2017 Duración: 19min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “You will almost never build wealth through passive investment and income” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) Passive income, and the power of it, is one of the most pervasive myths in modern culture. Many people think that passive income is what is going to eventually bring them real wealth. But look at the Forbes list! None of those people created wealth exclusively through passive investment and income. Those who make the most and become the most wealthy are those who are willing to be active in their investment, and to put in the time and effort required to build the kind of wealth they are looking for. On this episode I’m talking about the confusion and misinformation around passive income, how strong a motivator status is, why traditional schooling is holding so many people back, why you should set up multiple bases around the world for your business, and why life is a set of battles you should be willing to lose

  • How to Be a Strong Persuader to Earn More

    10/03/2017 Duración: 25min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “If you can master rewards and motivation, you will make a ton of money” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) If you want to be successful in life, whether that means making more money, doing more good, achieving more, or anything else, you will need to master the skill of persuasion. Today, I’m talking about why reward is the strongest persuasion technique, and how to use it. In addition, we go over how you should play the “versus” game to find out what truly motivates you. Compare two common motivations, such as fame and money, and ask which you would rather do without in order to have the other. Once you’ve honed in on what truly motivates you at the highest level, make sure you have a lot of that thing around you, to keep you in a state of constant motivation. “Find out what motivates you, and then fixate on it” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) Points to Keep In Mind There is almost no persuasion technique stronger than

  • Why Working 8 Hours a Day is Too Much

    09/03/2017 Duración: 20min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “What you’re selling matters far more than all the best practices, tips, and hacks about how to sell” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) We’ve been over why there is not a correlation between working hard and having more money. The idea is disproven time and time again, even though it continues to be put forward is a reputable concept. I would even put forward that, unless you’re in a flow state where time seems to slow down (and fly by at the same time) and it basically doesn’t even feel like work, even 8 hours a day is too much! If you’re consistently working 8 hours a day in a non-flow state, you need to look into how you can decrease your input (hours worked) while keeping your output (money in) the same or increasing it. We’re going over all of that, as well as the skill of hiring the right people, why it’s a fool’s errand to try to predict outcomes, and why Dan Bilzerian might just be smarter than Coca Cola... “H

  • How You Can Make More Money

    07/03/2017 Duración: 23min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “You MUST know what motivates you. This is the most important” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) Almost everybody would like to be making more money, if they’re completely honest with themselves. But there are so many mindset problems that people have around money, how it’s made, and how you can get more of it. Most importantly, you MUST know what motivates you, and be very clear about it. If you’re motivated by fast cars, great, use that! If you’re motivating by doing good, great, us that! With the correct motivation, you could do a lot more than you are doing, so the reality is that motivation is often a major missing piece of the puzzle. In addition, don’t make the common mistake of equating hard work with money. The hardest workers in the world are not the richest. There’s simply not a correlation. Learn how to use tools effectively, be smart, and be willing to put in the hard work. But look at the hard work as ju

  • How You Should Set Up Experiments To Grow Social Media

    06/03/2017 Duración: 02min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “As a marketer, think in terms of experimentation, learning, and then tweaking” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) A lot of people want to be an influencer, but not very many people know how to do it well. In fact, not very many people or brands know how to leverage and build social media effectively. If you look at top brands in industries, for instance people like Tony Robbins or brands like Coca Cola, their social media platforms have far too few followers and far too poor engagement for how wide and broad their reach is. Yet, having strong social media is so important that it could be argued that it won the presidency in the last election! The problem is that most people are not actively creating experiments, measuring, analyzing, and then tweaking their strategy to be as effective as possible. They think they already know what to do, but most people don’t. This episode is about how to set up effective experiments

  • How You Can Become an Influencer with Social Media

    03/03/2017 Duración: 27min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “Focus in on a niche to differentiate yourself and build influence” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) A lot of people want to know how to become an influencer. It’s a sexy thing to do these days, with the bragging rights and fame that come with large numbers of social media followers and influence. But how do you build yourself into an influencer? This episode is about how to use social media to growing your following and turn yourself into an influencer. I’m talking about which platforms are ideal for what types of influence and demographics, how to approach different platforms, and how to win on any of them. “A lot of people simply won’t take the steps and do the work” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) Points to Keep In Mind The influencer field is getting crowded, and much more difficult to stand out in Focus in on a niche to differentiate yourself Pick something that is authentic to you to hone in on Don’t be afraid t

  • Which Business Model Should You Emulate?

    27/02/2017 Duración: 11min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “It’s not the smartest, but the most adaptable, who survive” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) Too many people are copying the wrong people. They don’t realize that you can almost never achieve 100% of the what the people you are emulating have done, so you need to overshoot by a lot, so that when you don’t achieve as much as they did, you still end up pretty well off. This episode is about some of the best business models to emulate. Who you copy is extremely important, and I’m breaking down the different business models out there, the good and the bad, and whether you should be copying them or not.   “Go straight to the top: Learn from the very best” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) Points to Keep In Mind It’s not the smartest, but the most adaptable, who survive Spreading out and building multiple sources of income is the most powerful method of wealth creation Go straight to the top: Learn from the very best Seek out

  • What Is More Important Than Hustle?

    24/02/2017 Duración: 08min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “If you don’t know how to use tools, it’s almost impossible to keep up with the competition” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) A lot of entrepreneurs have it backwards. They think that hustle is the goal, that hard work is something to brag about and even to strive for. The truth is that hustle and hard work constitute the input, while the goal of any business is to maximize output while simultaneously minimizing input. This is the confusion that is so pervasive to the entrepreneurial community, and it is holding people back. The hardest working people in the world are, unfortunately, often also the poorest, so there is no correlation. While it is important during times and seasons to work very hard, this should never be the main goal. “Humans got ahead mainly because of their ability to use tools, not because they worked harder” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) Points to Keep In Mind If you don’t know how to use tools,

  • Why Most Businesses Suck

    23/02/2017 Duración: 05min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “Most businesses suck, because businesses are created by people, and too many people are dumb” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) That’s quite a claim, right? But it’s true, most businesses suck. And it’s because businesses are created by people, and most people are dumb. So look for your competitive advantage, and what you can bring to the world that’s truly unique. There was a time when having a college degree was a competitive advantage, but no more. However, if you know how to sell and bring value, you will always be in high demand. “If you know how to sell, you will always be in demand” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) Points to Keep In Mind Most businesses suck, because businesses are created by people, and too many people are dumb You can always make money by showing people what is new and effective College used to be a competitive advantage, because less people went. No longer the case If you know how to sell, you

  • Why You Shouldn’t Try To Be Too Successful Too Fast: Play the Long Game

    21/02/2017 Duración: 25min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “When you try to jump ahead too fast in life, you often fall on your face” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) People talk a big game. I’ve heard people talk about their “billion dollar idea,” but when asked if they’ve ever made $100 million, $1 million, $100,000, or even $10,00, the answer is no. Success comes in steps, gradually and over time. And believe it or not, this is actually a really good thing. While there are examples of people who have become extremely successful nearly instantly, the large majority of them fell flat on their face immediately thereafter. When steps are skipped, smaller mistakes are skipped, which means you miss the opportunity to learn from small mistakes, and instead make big mistakes. This is the value of taking the long-view in life. Try to become successful too fast, and you’re likely to fall flat on your face. Instead, strive to live each day better, to be more successful, to do better

  • Why You Should Fight to Think Outside the Status Quo to Be Successful

    20/02/2017 Duración: 20min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “The real basis of America is free-thought, not free press. So be a free thinker!” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) If you know your history, you know that society, and the status quo, is almost never right. Whether it was the belief that the world was flat, slavery, or any other number of examples, if you have a tendency to simply accept the status quo and what society dictates, you’re setting yourself up to be horribly wrong. Today’s rant is about this idea. The concept that you should fight the power. Or at least, fight to think outside the status quo of the power. Because, as it turns out, the power is almost always wrong! Be a free thinker! America was built upon the basis of free thought, not free press, so exercise the muscles of thought that will allow you to see beyond the society’s status quo and into reality. “Anyone who doesn’t question the status quo is in severe danger of being very wrong. It’s proven t

  • How to Recover from Failure, Pick Yourself Up, and Start Again

    17/02/2017 Duración: 15min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “When you’re in the valleys of life, never isolate yourself. Surround yourself with friends” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) Almost every major figure throughout history has encountered some sort of tremendous failure. A moment in their life when they made an absolutely huge mistake, were forced to deal with the consequences, and then, to make the decision that would shape the rest of their lives: Would they let the failure defeat them for good, or would they pick themselves up, and start again? Their answer to that question often defined whether they would become somebody who would be remembered or forgotten by history, and it will define the impact and success that you are able to achieve in your life. Everybody fails. The way you respond to failure, however, sets you apart from the crowd. Learn how to respond, how to pick yourself up, and how to have the strength and willpower to try again, to climb out of the va

    14/02/2017 Duración: 10min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “Your personality type will determine what your ideal routine will be” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) One of the questions that I get asked the most is what my ideal morning routine looks like, so today I am digging into that topic. Morning routines and daily routines, while very important, are also very personal, and exactly what they are is going to depend on what personality type you are. Because of my own personality, one type of routine works best for me, but remember that it will be different for everyone. So listen to this episode of The Tai Lopez Show to find out more about what will go into your ideal routine based on your personality type. “The ability to stick to something in the long run is one of the most powerful abilities to have” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) Points to Keep In Mind Daily routines are a misunderstood concept: There is no one perfect morning routine Your personality type will determin

  • Why You Might Need More Confrontation in Your Life

    13/02/2017 Duración: 15min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “Winning is one of the best ways to shut up haters” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) A lot of people are taught that meekness is essential. We’re told from an early age that humility is a virtue, and, in many different ways, we’re told to avoid confrontation. But what about the times when confrontation is necessary? When you need to stand up for yourself, or for others? Do you know how to? And, perhaps even more importantly, do you know when to? Today’s conversation is about how to stand up to bullies, how to know when aggression is necessary, why some people are too aggressive while others are too non-confrontational and how to deal with both, and much, much more. “You can’t always be non-confrontational. Confrontation will make you stronger” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) Points to Keep In Mind Learn how to use words effectively to be persuasive and win arguments How you respond to pressure will often define your su

  • How Caron Butler Went From Selling Crack to NBA Success

    10/02/2017 Duración: 19min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “Use stories of inspiring people who rose to great heights to inspire you everyday” (click to tweet) If you’ve ever felt held-back in your pursuit of success by your upbringing, the people around you, or where you came from, this episode is for you. I’m speaking with Caron Butler, pro NBA player, about his new book “Tuff Juice.” We’re talking about his journey to success in the NBA, what it took for him to achieve the incredible amounts of success that he has, and the advice that he has for anyone who wants to do amazing things. While we’re at it, we get into playing against Michael Jordan, the importance of the group of people you surround yourself, and why it’s so essential to remember those who believe in you when no one else will. “Think about the people who believe in you when no one else will. They keep you going” (click to tweet) Points to Keep In Mind Use stories of inspiring people who rose to great hei

  • Why You Should Know the “26 Love Stories” to Find the Right Person for a Healthy Relationship

    09/02/2017 Duración: 07min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “People subconsciously act out stories in their mind about how they think the world works, and it controls their behavior” (click to tweet) Today’s episode is about the book “Love is a Story” by Robert J. Sternberg, which explores the way that the stories we mentally tell about ourselves and how love works controls the way we behave. This means that one of the most important things to look for in a potential partner is either the same, or a similar love story, so that your attitude and mindset will line up with each other. So if it seems like no matter how hard you try, you cannot find the right person, it could be your stories aren’t lining up, or are simply too different. It’s a fascinating way to look at relationships and finding the perfect fit in a partner. “Never date somebody who has a dramatically different subconscious story compared with yours” (click to tweet) Points to Keep In Mind The love triangle

  • Why Hard Work is Not Enough to Make You Successful

    06/02/2017 Duración: 16min

The Tai Lopez Show is now available on Soundcloud. Check it out here: Soundcloud.com/TaiLopezShow “Work smarter than you work hard” - Tai Lopez (click to tweet) A lot of the discussion in entrepreneurial circles these days is about “the hustle.” The word “hustle” is a popular buzzword right now, but the truth is that it’s really only half, or probably much less than half, of what will make you successful! Look around you: You can find people hustling, working extremely hard, but not getting ahead, everywhere. Hustle is clearly not the answer, and so much emphasis is put on it that people get led astray, thinking it’s all that they need. But if you’re hustling, doing the wrong thing, it doesn’t matter how hard you’re hustling, it’s still the wrong thing! This episode is about how to work smarter, not harder. While hustle and hard-work is a necessity, it’s not the end goal. In fact, your hard work should be with the goal of putting systems in place that allow you to work less hard to accomplish the same thing.
