Sell Yourself to Yourself Commercials Part 2 - Constructing Your Own Commercial! - #132
22/08/2021 Duración: 08minToday we are talking about building your own sell yourself to yourself commercial! Listening to or reading this every day can be extremely powerful with solidfying your identity of how you would like to see yourself, improve your focus, etc. They have truly been SO helpful for me.Here's the three things to keep in mind when you're writing yours:1. Purpose: – Ask yourself: Who am I and what do I want to focus on during this time I listen to this commercial – This will help you change how you see yourself. Right now I have been reminding myself in mine that I am a strong, kind person and that I am NOT a puppet. This is a good reminder for me that I need to go after my dreams and not expect things to just fall into place without some effort on my part.2. Wording: Remember - This is written specifically for you and that is SO powerful. What do you want to keep in mind? This can be a powerful training mechanism. I would recommend including warnings, ideas, and reminders that you think would be helpful fo

3 Reasons to Start Writing Today! - #130
13/08/2021 Duración: 05minWriting is something that we are all taught to do from a young age but we are not necessarily taught (at least not very thoroughly) the why and the usefulness of it. Growing up it was drilled into me that the only reasons to write were to inform, entertain, or persuade people. In this episode, I dug into 3 other reasons to write: documenting your journey, providing clarity, and giving inspiration for tough times. Reflective and other writing has helped me immensely on my entrepreneurship journey so far, and I am sure it will help you too! Sell Yourself to Yourself Commercials Part 1 - Why, Examples, and Benefits - #128
08/08/2021 Duración: 15minEver since reading about sell yourself to yourself commercials in The Magic of Thinking BIG the idea has hooked me! I have since written around 7 commercials for myself to read in the morning that help me sell myself on myself and stay focused on what I want to focus on. I hope that this gives you some ideas to improving your own self-care and relationship with yourself. Next week I will be releasing Part 2 of this which will talk all about building your own commercial! You won't want to miss it. Also, my deep apologies this is coming out SO late. I got super sick late Wednesday night and just decided to be way lazy after that (even after I was feeling a lot better). I promise that I am trying to learn after each of these failures so I can be better in the future. Interviews are coming back to the podcast soon it is just taking some time to make them happen. :)Resources: The Magic of Thinking BIG Book - https://www.amazon.com/Magic-Thinking-Big-David-Schwartz/dp/0671646788https://www.actionablebooks.com/

Taking a 2-Week Break - 3 Reasons Why - #122
05/07/2021 Duración: 05minWe have put out nearly two episodes every single week since November 2020! That is over 50 episodes! I never thought we would have been able to do that, and so I am so glad we went for it. :)With that said, I have been feeling recently that I should take a break. I know this may come as a surprise, but I think it really will be for the best. Here are three reasons why: 1. Improve Episode Quality – I want to continuously improve the quality of the episodes, interviews, etc. During this time I plan on organizing my episodes better, creating a template, and figuring out other workflows to save time and also up the quality! 2. Take Care of The Field– There are some behind the scenes things with the podcast that I have been neglecting for some time. During this break I am going to take a good look at what has been accomplished so far, work on some of the SEO and episode show notes (honestly some of them really need some work) and organize the podcast episodes better. I also need to get some new interview guests li

Making an impact and what to do from there Note: The math I did (when calculating the 1000 true fans thing) was actually very off. It was actually $120,000 a year (if you had 1000 people paying you $10 a month). It’s all about building audience trust.Email Campaigns – I want to do this at some point and go ALL IN on it. A phone will work fine for starting out. Some solid budget mics: Will update when I get a chance...2. Video - Definitely good to start out with, but not required by any means. It just will be helpful to have as your content improves and you want to put out better content.3.
