A huge market leader in the space and now seen as an integral part of electronic music culture.

Teedee is our very special guest this week! His rise to success may seem quick, but he started planning this journey at just age 16 when he was DJing at his local town in Sheffield, UK. After getting a few gigs here and there, as well as learning how to produce hip-hop beats, he decided to use his personality on social media to kick-start his career beyond the resident club scene. After a single viral video, he had major labels wanting to work with him and has continued to build a huge global audience, which is now over 400k followers across platforms. In 2022, he teamed up with Bugzy Malone for the track 'Out of Nowhere,' which went on to be an official UK Top 10 and has surpassed 50 million streams on Spotify alone. He has a major record deal and is due to release music in 2024 with some of the biggest house producers in the world. He has launched his own label as well as an events company. Our special guest on this week's podcast is Annabel Annabelle was working multiple jobs and was juggling a full-time job alongside trying to build a DJ career on Twitch streaming on the side. After deciding to leave her residency and focus on DJing full-time, she experienced feelings of isolation and vulnerability as she navigated the tough industry with low-income and limited gigs. However, after posting consistently on social media, she gained a larger following that eventually led to more gigs and partnerships with brands. This conversation really shows the importance of persistence and being authentic in order to connect with your audience and grow your brand as a DJ! In today's episode, we learn about how Joe, aka DJ Flurane, landed a residency and the biggest club in his area. joe reached out to us with a long email basically asking us to help him plan out the perfect DJ set for his up-and-coming trial DJ set, which he hoped to impress the new venue. With some back and forth from us, he managed to get out of his own head, smash the DJ set and perform in front of one of the greatest DJs of all time in doing so! Enjoy the story.
