GMG In The Raw - The Lost Episode - Super Bowl Special
15/02/2020 Duración: 44minGood morning Horners! In this lost episode, where Drew, Ted and Dave recorded right after the Super Bowl and the Kansas City Chiefs victory over the San Francisco 49ers, the guys get into briefly the game play, but quickly morphed to how it applies the Minnesota Vikings. There were talks of coaching, players like Kirk Cousins and his weapons. Whether building an O-line to run is as advantageous as to one that could pass protect better? There was talk of the red ink in the cap situation and how likely there will be a good amount of new faces in 2020, at least on the defense. How over the years Vikings front office [Rick Spielman and staff] and coaching [Mike Zimmer and his multiple OCs] decisions led to this cap predicament. There are plenty of option to solve some of it, but running things back with all the same players won’t be one of them. We congratulate Steve Hutchinson on making the Hall of Fame. He was so good and dominating. I’m sure many of you would love to have a left guard of his quality going in

Vikings vs 49ers - GMG In The Raw! Post Playoff Special
12/01/2020 Duración: 43minVikings vs 49ers… Good morning Horners! Well, maybe not so good, but the sun will come up again I’m told. A very lubed up Dave, Ted and sober Drew went live after the game to discuss the Minnesota Vikings loss against the San Francisco 49ers. After a disappointing 3 and out to start the game, fans were worried and it was justified. The Vikings did manage to keep the game in reach through the first half, but due to even more failed drives, 7 of which were 3 and outs [6 punts and failed 4th down conversion], plus a 3rd down interception, the Vikings defense was on the field almost 2/3rds of the game. Jimmy Garoppolo picked on Xavier Rhodes early and often, and the Niners were able to run the ball effectively, leading to a subpar result. Coming out cold, poor play calling, and pressure up the middle leading to a bad Kirk Cousins day, meant the Vikes were not going to be advancing. It is now going to be time for change. It will be needed going into the next few days, weeks and months. Welcome to the offseason p

Vikings vs 49ers - GMG Preview Show Divisional Round Special
11/01/2020 Duración: 58minVikings vs 49ers… Good morning Horners! The Vikings are in the San Francisco area getting ready to take on the #1 seed 49ers in what we all hope is another momentum gathering affair. Ted, Drew and Dave will break down what should be ‘the’ game of 2019/20. There were things that we took from the marvelous win over the Saints that can be applied to this game. We all hope Mike Zimmer has more up his coaching sleeve to confuse and confound Kyle Shanahan and Jimmy Garoppolo. We’re ready for the game. Are you? Ted talks about how he thinks the victory in New Orleans might just be that piece that mentally pushes Kirk Cousins over the top, from the QB that can’t win the big one, to one that he now has the confidence and skills to win from here on out. With heavy doses of Dalvin Cook looking to run against one of the few 49er weaknesses, their run defense, to Kirk hitting Adam Thielen or Stefon Diggs over and under to make a safety to commit leaving the other open, and to generate time eating drive ending in scores,

FMF 311 | Underdog Dreams
10/01/2020 Duración: 30minWelcome to the 2019 Divisional Playoffs! Yinka joins Flip for another 30 minute playoff special! New information is out on Stefon Diggs and his passion seems to have a positive effect on the team. After a close call the Vikings believe Adam Thielen's stitches will heal in time for the game against San Francisco. The 49ers defense started to struggle at the end of the year. Their offense is similar to Minnesota's and the Vikings defense must tackle well. Stop George Kittle and put more pressure on a team that isn't used to playoff environments. Vikings vs 49ers - Climbing The Pocket Network Round Table
08/01/2020 Duración: 44minTick tock, let’s go! The Climbing The Pocket Network and Daily Norseman personalities recorded after your Minnesota Vikings after beating the New Orleans Saints talking about the Wildcard win and looking forward to the Divisional round vs the San Francisco 49ers. After basking in the glow of the overtime victory against the Saints, Matt broke down the wrinkles in the Mike Zimmer defense that was masterfully implemented. Nick discussed Kirk Cousins and how he started a little shaky, causing the fans to worry, but turned it around, and as Ed said, ‘his best performance of his career.” It may not have been stat-wise, but for a get over the hump mentally, it sure was. Because of this performance of leading the team to a win, and hopefully more between now and early February, Ed talked about a possible extension and what exactly that may look like. The star of the show, Flip, went on an epic rant about how the Vikings were underdogs, are still underdogs, and the only way they get respect is to win. Jayson and

Vikings vs Saints - GMG In The Raw Wildcard Edition
06/01/2020 Duración: 42minVikings vs Saints… Good morning Horners! Your Minnesota Vikings were victorious over the New Orleans Saints down at the Mercedes Benz Super Dome Sunday afternoon and it was glorious! If you missed the live GMG ITR broadcast, it is here. Join Ted, Drew, Dave and special guest from the Daily Norseman, Mr. Christopher Gates. After getting a little lubed up during the game, the guys go over the keys to the win. It was fun, and we all need a little more of that, especially on a Monday. LOL. Mike Zimmer planned a brilliant game. His out of the box thinking of moving Danielle Hunter and Everyone Griffen into the interior rushing spots was spot on. That move generated much quicker pressure on Drew Brees and put him off of his ‘normal’ game. The rest of the defense, especially some of the veterans like Xavier Rhodes, Anthony Barr, Harrison Smith and Anthony Harris were playing at the tops of their games. Yeah baby! It was very much needed and appreciated. Kevin Stefanski play calling, though worrisome at times, se
