    3 American-born New Yorkers, all with immigrant parents get together to discuss topics of the day, and life in general. Gerardo was born in Queens with Colombian parents. He grew up in the streets of Jackson Heights, doing his best to stay out of trouble by working out and reading books, often invoking the ridicule of his hood-rat peers. Translating his passion for fitness and avoiding danger into something useful, he has made his living as a fitness and self defense instructor for a number of years. Giuseppe grew up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn when it was cheap and dangerous, before the hipsters arrived. A fervent admirer of Ronald Reagan from the age of 10, social rejection was a way of life for him. An accountant by trade and a caveman by nature, he enjoys lifting weights, admires hirsute women, and needs to do deep breathing exercises at the mere mention of liberals. Platano, like Gerardo is also a product of the mean streets of Jackson Heights.
