Welcome to my End of the Year and indeed Decade special as I look at the little known 1980 slasher New Years Evil.   Cannon Films first and only slasher movie.   The story of a fame-hungry DJ that'll do anything to break into the big time, she gets phone calls during her live all night rock-a-thon as she counts down the hits of the year.   Can the cops save her from the mysterious Evil? What's with her "teenage" son?
