Yeshiva League Sports Update

Good morning everyone and a happy 2023! Today on the first Tuesday Morning JM in the AM Sports Update of the calendar year, TABC varsity hockey begins the year the same way last year ended, DRS varsity basketball puts the pressure on the East with a 3-spot and Hillel enters the conversation in JV Basketball. We'll start out in Varsity Hockey where the start of 2023 turned out to be a continuation of 2022 for the newly minted team to beat, the TABC Storm. Within a week and a half, TABC has taken control of the West and the league, knocking off Frisch and DRS. The Storm completed the sweep of their 2022 finals nemesis Cougars by the score of 5-3 behind a hat trick from senior Eitan Adler. They would then follow that up with a 6-2 drubbing of the Wildcats behind two goals apiece from senior Eli Altman and Junior Shay Fields.
