Every year the Iowa Department of Natural Resources drive a total of 6,540 miles collecting population data for animals such as pheasants, quail, partridge, and two different species of rabbit.  Once this data is collected and organized, the Iowa DNR releases that information in an annual report. On this episode, Dan talks with returning guest Steve Weisman about the 2019 report and the data that was collected. The guys discuss population trends, habitat loss, harvest numbers and much more detailed information about this study that has been happening every year since the early 1960's.
