In Episode 03 of Screen Heroes we talk about the new X-Men: Apocalypse trailer along with our thoughts on the soon to release Deadpool film. This past week, FOX released the first trailer and actual footage from the upcoming Marvel Comics-based film, X-Men: Apocalypse. Apocalypse is the sequel to the 2014 film, X-Men: Days of Future Past which saw our mutant heroes fighting for the future with the help of Wolverine. Apocalypse takes place in the 80s with our younger mutant heroes a little bit older. Raven appears to be a good guy now as well as a lot less blue plus Magneto once again pushes the limits of his friendship with Professor X who... actually becomes bald at some point in the film! My favorite shot in the whole trailer. After breaking down the first X-Men: Apocalypse trailer, we switch gears to a more controversial and adult Marvel Comics character, Deadpool. The new Deadpool film is slated for a February 12th release and looks to be a perfect role for once DC Comics superhero actor, Ryan Reynolds.
