Yeshiva League Sports Update

Thanks Nachum! The days are ticking down to the 2022-2023 Winter finals and two matchups are already set. Straight ahead on the Tuesday Morning JM in the AM Sports Update, JV Hockey and JV Girls basketball are gearing up for their big games, Varsity hockey and Varsity Girls Basketball will get there tomorrow night and JV and Varsity Boys basketball will take their time as their final is almost three weeks away. All that and more, good morning, I'm Elliot Weiselberg. JV Hockey is the first boys league to have its championship matchup set. The 2023 final will feature the same teams as the 2022 final, the TABC Storm and DRS Wildcats. The Storm reached the big game by upending North Shore, 8-1. For DRS, the road was a bit more treacherous. The Wildcats took on SAR last night, following the Sting's 7-3 thrashing of Flatbush in the quarters and for most of the game looked as if they were primed for an upset.
