I often hear single women describe themselves as single as if that’s as big a part of their identity as their name and social security number. I believe that it’s time for single women, who are obsessed with that status, to begin to think of it as merely a box that we check on a form rather than a structure. We are better served by focusing on being and becoming sensational women and describing ourselves as such.
