Rabbi Brian Zachary Mayer grew up rational on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Asking the question why led him to rabbinical school. His love of humanity pushed him out of organized religion and to run Religion-Outside-The-Box, an internet-based congregation of 1,000’s. He loves living in Portland, Oregon with his partner and their two children.
