Now, I am by NO MEANS a finance girly. I loathe math, numbers are hard, and I’m the one who is thanking the lord that what our teachers use to tell us about “never having calculator in our pockets” isn’t actually the case. BUT, I do realize that in order to have a successful, sustainable, and scaling business… you need to know YOUR numbers! This time of year finances are likely top of mind with tax time + already putting a quarter of the year behind us. You likely set some financial goals at the beginning of the year, and the start of a new quarter is a really great time to circle back to that and take a pulse check. So I thought now was a great time to chat about this topic! Here is how I run my numbers for my business so that I can know what’s happening and treat my business like what it is… a real business!
