Yeshiva League Sports Update

Thanks Nachum! Indoor sports are semifinal ready and outdoor sports are winding down leading into the shavuos break. Today on the Tuesday Morning JM in the AM Sports Update, top seeds advance in Girls Varsity Soccer, but not in Boys Varsity Soccer, two shutouts highlight the girls hockey quarterfinals and a newcomer find themselves hot in the playoff mix in boys varsity softball. We'll start out in soccer, where, in Boys Varsity, a trio of quarterfinal contests took place Wednesday completing the round of play. The 4-5 contest lived up to the billing, going to sudden death, where Frisch outlasted host HANC 6-5 to advance to meet top seed SAR. The other half of the bracket saw West Champion TABC trounce DRS 11-3, and saw a major upset avoided as North Shore outlasted Ramaz 5-4.
