On this episode of the Peristyle Podcasts hosts Ryan Abraham and Coach Harvey Hyde are back after a brief hiatus talking about the USC Trojans getting ready to kick off the highly anticipated 2023 college football season, the second year under head coach Lincoln Riley. The Trojans return Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Caleb Williams, a ton of skill talent and a suspect defense that added a lot of new pieces during the off-season. The guys start off talking about how the Trojans were well represented in Las Vegas for Pac-12 Media Day with Riley, Williams and Oklahoma State transfer linebacker Mason Cobb. Overall Coach Hyde didn't feel like the Pac-12 did a good job of propping up what should be a strong conference this season. He felt like there wasn't any positive news and there was no strong leadership showing that would help produce more Pac-12 pride.
