In early November, of 2019, tonight’s first guest, Brittany, had taken a couple of months off work, to plan a wedding recharge her batteries. She was staying with her aunt at the time, in Virginia. Her aunt lived in a very remote area, so it took a good amount of time to get to the grocery store. Brittany had gone to Kroger’s one night, which was roughly an hour trip, each way, and was heading back to her aunt’s house. Not long after turning off the main road and onto a seldom traveled country road, a pair of eyes caught her attention up ahead. To her surprise, she could tell that it couldn’t be a deer that was staring back at her. Deer wouldn’t have eyes that high off the ground. As she got closer, she could tell that the eyes were higher, off the ground, than a round bale of hay. They were higher than the roof of her truck!
