Everyone’s chucked in their two cents worth over the Johnny Depp win in his defamation case against Amber Heard, but here’s a couple of things that resonated for me.One, we have come so far down a dangerous and slippery slope on judging people guilty until proven innocent, that it’s actually devastating for those accused who are innocent. Many of them would not have the wherewithal, money or ability to seek truth in court like Depp did, and I’m glad he did it. We have a society where the court of public opinion reigns supreme. You are cancelled within about ten minutes of an allegation, and that’s a very dangerous precedent, which must terrify a lot of men.
