On this episode we chat with author/grappler Melissa Logan Sanders from Mt. Vernon Illinois. This warrior poet has been hard at work crafting her own universe  with her book series "Callatin Academy." We step inside the mind of Melissa and learn all about her writing process, inspiration, and what she hopes to achieve on this authors journey. We take a real nice detour as well and chat about her other love which is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. She trains at the famed Pedigo Fighting System academy also known as "Daisy Fresh." We learn how Jiu Jitsu helped shape who she is as well as the magic that makes that place produce champion after champion after champion.
