Sinopsis

*Before this week's episode got underway, we referenced a statement from the National Council of Jewish Women on the tragic events in Israel. Read the full statement here. This week on Friday Night Movie, we watched the beautiful documentary, Fioretta. Fioretta, tells the story of Randy Schoenberg and his 18-year-old son Joey as they journey through 500 years of family history. Shai and Becky sat down with director, Matthew Mishory, and subject, Joey Schoenberg (Randy's son), to talk about the film and how one Jewish family's history opens the door to understanding hundreds of years of civilization.  See Fioretta - Get Tickets:  https://filmfreeway.com/DOCLA/tickets  https://nbff23.eventive.org/films/64ee52306f33b8001ff7d2b6  In solidarity with the SAG-AFTRA strike, Friday Night Movie is supporting the Entertainment Community Fund, which provides emergency financial assistance and provides social services to a broad array of entertainment industry professionals.  Sign up for the Friday Night Movie Newslette
